In memory of Keith Tripp

Our most dedicated player, and friend and a teacher, Keith Tripp aka zardOz, has unfortunately passed away. The news reached me several months ago but due to how deeply the news affected me it has been very difficult for me to publicly announce it here.

Who was Keith?

From Lansing State Journal:
A man of integrity with a generous spirit and quick wit, Keith lived a simple and unassuming life. Keith would want you to know he enjoyed honest friendships and what few hardships he endured were meager at best. He sought out the knowledge of Science and was gifted with a mind which could comprehend the interconnectivity of it all. A quote from Keith himself, "I am the sum of a unique nature and nurture."

I only knew him through Principia and Apparatus. Keith always helped people and always learned new things. He built some of the most amazing levels ever.

I specifically remember one zardOz quote: "I hate script boxes!". A month later he was writing Lua tutorials and scripting games.

A close friend of Keith reached out to me with the news just days following his passing:
He loved challenging himself on your game (often while we were hanging out) and I knew he was really proud of his tutorials but I had no idea how many other users he helped. He was hoping someday to parlay his knowledge gained from your app to get a programming job someday.

I wish he was still alive. I will remember how friendly and helpful he was. I will regret that I never got the chance to give him that programming job.

Rest in peace.

Wow, I never see his face or age, well I loved him because I was about to be his friend but I think it was, I was happy when I was in apparatus with him and in Principia, I talked to him where I see him first level, you can see me said hi to him, its in his first level, and also, I am deeply sad about loss of him, but I have a bad day also, because my website is dead and email will be soon dead in March because I can't afford it, anyway, rest in peace Keith, my old friend, shall not be forgotten and shall be remembered forevermore in his death, yes, I wish he is still alive
